Locks of Love

Salon Ciseux is proud to support Locks of Love with as many hair donations as possible. Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to children 18 years old and younger who may be financially disadvantaged. These children are suffering from long-term medical hair loss. The hair that is donated by our clients is used to create the highest quality prosthetics. These prosthetics help to re-build self esteem and confidence which enables these children to face the world and their peers. The guidelines for hair donations is that a ponytail must be at least 10 inches. They will accept 5 inches and will simply sell the hair for mannequins to help off set any costs of the hair pieces for the children.

At Salon Ciseaux we encourage those who are ready for a change from their long hair to come to us. Not only will we make the transition from extra long hair to a new length easy to deal with, we will then aid in the process of getting this wonderful donation of hair to the people at Locks of Love.
